And rightly so, as their electro-tinged funk on 'Holographic Lover' is as smooth as it is both catchy and heartfelt. The pair, made up of Alexe Belle and Isis Valentino, have some of the most honeyed harmonies we’ve heard of late, as they mince over intense romances with shrewd insight. Matching delicious hooks with a muffled bed of samples is an unexpected but genius move and it's creativity like this that sets them aside from other musicians making slow jam R&B.
